MICRO-PURCHASE THRESHOLD

Have a smaller scale federal project you’re looking to tackle immediately? The Micro-Purchase Threshold (MPT) allows buying agencies to purchase directly from a contractor without adhering to the formal competitive processes when they are acquiring goods and services for $10,000 and below (FAR Subpart 13.2). The MPT was established to reduce time and budget associated with a lengthy bid response process.
